It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English.

Operations Technology Strategy
- What software tools do your business teams use to do their work?
- Do your employees know how to use them effectively? Are they trained appropriately?
- Do these tools align with the teams' business processes? Or are they clunky to use?
- Does anyone on the business teams understand how they work/how they're set up?
- Is there an improvement mindset? Do teams actively look for ways to improve the tools they use in order to make their daily work easier? Are they aware of what's possible to improve about the tools they use? Are they looking for new technology to use?

It takes active participation and continuous investment from business teams to have an effective technology strategy in your company. The days of "set it and forget it" IT tools are done. The days of an isolated IT department are done. In today's world, ownership of your company's operations technology must be a close partnership between business teams and IT, and the development and improvement of your technology portfolio should be treated and managed as a product.

I teach by example. I set a culture by actively participating in designing and delivering solutions/projects. Prior to tech, I tutored math students. I specialize in creating the right mindset on how to approach problems together. Examples: BII, Abelian. I can teach people new things quickly and effectively and get everyone on the same page. I do this by being very hands-on in working with and guiding business teams on how to think about their software tools with an improvement mindset. When I work with teams I teach them just enough for them to understand what's possible, what they can/should ask for, and have the vocabulary to communicate that effectively to the IT teams.

I engage teams in the development process, leading them to feel ownership of the tools they use, rather than being powerless to crummy software that makes their days harder. Once teams feel confident about their understanding and ownership of technology, they begin actively looking for more ways to make it better. When you have all your teams striving for more efficient ways to work, not just IT, you multiply the rate at which your business operations improve. Once they realize they don't have to be scared of or frustrated by the software tools they use, so many more possibilities open up.

I'm most experienced with Salesforce but enjoy exploring any tool that fills a business need and gets the job done. I'm familiar with configuring Jira and Slack as well. Salesforce is well suited to the improvement mindset because of how configurable/customizable it is.
